Independent & state schools
Senior, prep, all-through and academy schools, building non-fee income, commercial operations and strategic partnerships at every scale
MATs & education groups
Revenue strategy and commercial growth across multi-school structures, academy trusts and larger education organisations
International organisations
Education groups entering or expanding in the UK market, and UK schools developing international programmes and revenue abroad

How we work with you

Whether you are a school just starting to think about commercial income, or an established education group looking to expand, the focus is always on building something real and lasting.

01

Revenue growth & non-fee income

Helping schools identify and grow new income streams: sports facilities, events, summer schools, lettings, retail and more. Practical, grounded strategy that works within the rhythm of a school, not against it.

02

Commercial partnerships & business development

Building the right partnerships with corporates and sector bodies that create genuine, long-term value. Not transactional relationships, but ones that serve the school’s mission as well as its balance sheet.

03

International expansion

Supporting schools and education organisations entering new markets, from strategy through to operational delivery. Hands-on experience across Thailand, China, Cyprus and France, building international programmes and commercial operations from the ground up.

04

Bridging education & investment

Bringing education organisations and investment groups together, finding the right partners, structuring the right conversations, and translating the language of both worlds so that the right projects move forward.

Director, EdReve Advisory

“Every pound of commercial income is a pound that goes back into a child’s education.”
I understand schools from the inside out and the care behind every commercial decision. I bridge education and business to create commercial growth that respects both.

20 years, one mission.

Marina Kilaniotis brings nearly two decades of wide-ranging experience across the education sector, starting as an educator in the classroom before moving on to direct global operations for international educational travel companies, and ultimately pioneering commercial revenue growth for some of the UK’s most distinguished schools.

Since 2018, Marina has led the commercial function at one of London’s most prestigious independent schools, establishing the department from the ground up and growing non-fee income through lettings, filming, sports partnerships and holiday programmes. Her global experience extends to managing international ventures, including branch campuses and academic programmes through cross-border partnerships.

She was also a committee member of the Schools’ Enterprise Association, an organisation that provides dedicated support and shared learning for commercial leaders across the education sector.

That breadth of experience, from classroom to boardroom, from London to Asia, defines every EdReve engagement. Marina brings a rare combination of educational fluency and commercial expertise to every client engagement.

Let’s talk about what’s possible

Whether you are a school taking its first steps into commercial activity, an international organisation entering the UK market, or an education group looking for the right strategic partner, we would love to have a conversation.
